all u dbags who say”stock gt500 could kill a stock supra”. thats the most useless comment ever. thats like saying well a Porsche Carrera GT would kill a stock civic.

no shit theyre in diff price ranges. $ for $ a supra takes a stang anyday. the kbb for a gt500 is 47k, and the kbb for a supra is zround 35k. for another 12k u could make a supra beat the gt500 in reverse.

The supra handles better looks cool and it held the record for best braking performance in a production car until a porsche beat the record a couple years back.

i dont like either but if i were to choose, supra everyday. supra is the most tunable car on the market fuk civics and stangs.

Heres why Supras are better then your shit stains….a stock 6 speed tranny can handle 1000+rwhp or nuclear attack, stock supra block can handle 800-900hp with just bolt-ons, Supras can turn left or right and of course the looks and quality of a supra.

I see a lot of people talking about stock vs. stock.

Well, there are different levels of stock. You have a stock Mustang GT that puts out 300HP. Then the next level up is the Mustang COBRA or the Mustang COBRA-R. The Supra happens to fall into a dangerous class of cars when talking about newer model vehicles. With the Supras 320hp it lands in comp with the COBRAS. Which is remarkable indeed. But as far as how it stands up against that kind of competition AT A STOCK LEVEL is not so great..lol.

Modern vehicles have put the Supra back up on the shelf to be remodelled and revammped, yet again.

For the price range though, I would NEVER buy a foreign 6 Cyl. car that costs 40-60thousand dollars. I don’t care how fast it goes with 80thou EXTRA under the hood.

The supra is in NO WAY cost effective. It’s actually a waste. Ineffecient.

2008 Ford Shelby GT500KR (comes STOCK with 540WHP) vs. The latest and greatest PRODUCTION SUPRA. (meaning, no aftermarket parts on it)

Get back on the boat now because it’s a long trip back to Japan…
