Ford Focus ST vs Vauxhall Astra VXR

I’ve used a vauxhall astra vxr,not that fast, I wouldnt buy one.Focus ST is more attractive, I think…

Of corse you have steve. If you prefer, what looks like an old mans car with a chav body kit, with a volvo engine get the ST, when will ford ever make a decent engine of their own, good chassis though.
Id go for the VXR every time, its just cool, not chav. Oh and if the VXR feels slow, then the st must be like a snail.

Steven i bet it was a 1.4 Astra you used you would not know how to drive a fast car like the vxr

both good cars guys, depends what your after, own a focus st myself but like the vxr too, in short st is better for everyday use and probably a better car on the twistys, the vxr is a faster point to point car and a more unforgiving drive… for enthusiasts.

I own an astra vxr they make much better use of power eg 2.0 t 240bhp against 2.5 t 225bhp?? also i think the vxr is put together much better i was looking at both before i made my decicion and test drove both preferred the vxr hands down and the all the crap and videos showing the poor handling is absolute bullshit a little bit of practise and confidence and you can get the vxr cornering just how you want it. its such a fun car i dont regret my decision at all. Also looks played a part in it aswell and i thort the st looked like something from barryboys with its daft stripes and awfull orange paintwork there also getting common to me its got the image of a chav they also depreciate faster than the vxr (thats if its not rusted by the time you come 2 sell it or its in the garage being repaired for some reason or another!)
